Have students write a collaborative poem or story using Twitter, IM, Edmodo or Facebook. This way, authors can contribute one word, one line, or several paragraphs.

This website is dedicated to promoting inclusive schooling and exploring positive ways of supporting students with autism and other disabilities. Most of my work involves collaborating with schools to create environments, lessons, and experiences that are inclusive, respectful, and accessible for all learners.

Inclusion every single day

Posted on February 03, 2014 in Inclusion

It isn’t too often that I get a chance to let you know about a free gift, but that is exactly what I am doing today. One of my publishers, Paul H. Brookes, has just come out with a gorgeous new wall calendar that you can print and download for your home, office, or your school.

Presume Competence

This calendar includes quotes from their books on inclusive education including one from “You’re Going to Love This Kid”! If you are an inclusion advocate, you will love it as much as I do. It is really colorful, easy to access, and filled with inspiring thoughts….and did I mention it’s free? So there is really no reason not to grab your own copy today.

Download now and start planning all of your important inclusion-related activities for the year.
