Have students write a collaborative poem or story using Twitter, IM, Edmodo or Facebook. This way, authors can contribute one word, one line, or several paragraphs.

30 Tips in 30 Days

Posted on April 02, 2012 in News

Today begins my Autism Awareness Month “30 Tips in 30 Days” Event. This is my third year of providing these ideas, and I am amazed at how many of you participate and share your own thoughts and suggestions each day. To keep that energy flowing, I am doing a book giveaway each week. As I did last year, I will draw names each week from the comments posted so you need only share a thought on either Facebook or my website to be entered. Just be sure to keep watch on my posts so you can see if you are the lucky winner. Drawings will take place at the end of each week.

I will also be featuring tips from a different publication each week. The first week will be ideas from LOVE THIS KID- both from the new DVD and from the book. The winner at the end of this week will win a copy of the 2nd edition of “You’re Going to Love This Kid”.
