Teach recess monitors about inclusive practices. Encourage them to connect students to each other and to suggest or facilitate structured games on the playground.

This website is dedicated to promoting inclusive schooling and exploring positive ways of supporting students with autism and other disabilities. Most of my work involves collaborating with schools to create environments, lessons, and experiences that are inclusive, respectful, and accessible for all learners.

I am thrilled to be able to invite you all to our 3rd Annual Conference held right here in the Chicago area. We have an amazing group of speakers coming to present including Richard Villa, Jacqueline Thousand, Dan Habib, Patrick Schwarz, Jonathan Mooney, Christopher Kliewer, the staff of the PEAK Parent Center and more. We have sessions on so many different topics including co-teaching, advocacy, supporting students with significant disabilities/autism/learning disabilities, active learning, early childhood inclusion and leading the inclusive school. Stay tuned to both the Illinois Includes website and our Facebook page for more information in the coming days and weeks!

Want to know more? Check out this short video illustrating our conference last year. It was powerful. Don’t miss out. We are expecting another sell out!
