When reading an alphabet book with a student, stop reading on each page and ask the student to name other words that begin with the letter. Start with other words of the same subject as the book and then move to other words in general.

WEBSITE WEDNESDAY: Operation Nice

So, today’s website is not really related to education specifically but it certainly speaks to the kind of values we want to promote in our inclusive schools.

Operation Nice celebrates being nice and provides lots of great ideas for making your home or workplace a more positive place. I loved their Ding Dong-Ding Dong Ditch idea! Which of these ideas could you adapt for your inclusive school? Which ideas could we teach our students?
